About the Lewis County Writers Guild

The Lewis County Writers Guild (aka LCWG) is a writers’ group in Lewis County, Washington that seeks to educate, support, and encourage writers in the area. We meet every Friday at the Station Coffee Bar and Bistro, 120 S Tower Ave, Centralia, WA.  All writers and wannabe writers from the local and surrounding areas are welcome to join us.

The Guild was formed in November 2008, after a record number of local writers (40) attempted Nanowrimo. Fifteen of them went on to win by writing 50,000 words on their novels that month.

The Guild meets on the third Friday of each month for education, support, and networking. A critique group meets to read and discuss writing work on the other Fridays. Many guild members also participate in National Novel Writing Month each November.

We are a group of writers who love writing and working together to improve our craft.

We are the best writing group in the area.

We hope you will join us for our next meeting. If you have further questions, feel free to email our current president Pat Thompson at:  patoooo (at) aol (dot) com
