Writers Social This Friday Night!

The Lewis County Writers Guild is pleased to present an evening of creative writing fun at the Matrix Coffeehouse at 434 NW Prindle St. in Chehalis on Friday, April 20th at 6:00 pm. As always, social hour begins at 5:00 pm. This month’s theme will be a social writing workshop, so bring paper, pen, and a friend who loves to write! We’ll have writing prompts and games to stretch our creativity and give us a chance to mix and mingle.

Don’t forget that the Guild’s 2nd Annual Novel Writing Contest is now accepting entries through May 18, 2012. Check out the contest details here. There are cash prizes involved, so don’t delay. We’re pleased to have Bryan Willis judging our contest this year. He is offering the grand prize winner a slot at the December 2012 Annual Literary Salon at Seattle Repertory Theater in addition to the cash prize. Remember: this is a small contest, so your odds of winning are much higher than many other contests, but you have to enter to win!

We look forward to seeing you all at the April Guild meeting. Happy writing!
